Steve East

SVP Global Sales & Business Development

Steve has held executive roles in the global telecommunications industry for over 30 years and demonstrates a high level of understanding of the global telecommunications market; specifically, telecoms markets in Northern and Central Europe. As SVP Global Sales and Business Development at Genesis Steve’s excellent decision-making skills and a consultative approach to managing complex client relationships helps Genesis to understand and meet our customer’s needs.

Steve enrolled at The Bath College of Advanced Technology to study Electronics & Electrical Engineering, being sponsored by the UK Ministry of Defence before going on to forge an exciting career starting at STC in the UK that was ultimately acquired by Nortel Networks, where Steve quickly rose to VP of Nortel’s largest global account.

Steve then moved to Maryland USA to build the start-up Dorsal Networks, which was acquired by Corvis Corporation and led to Steve becoming President of Corvis and then Broadwing Communications. On his return to the UK in 2007 he became the General Manager at BT, running strategic accounts as part of Global Services and finally as VP at Syniverse running one of their largest mobile global accounts.
