On Thursday 12th January Pressac Communications signed an agreement to invest in Genesis Technical Systems.  The investment will be used to provide engineering and production resources to enable manufacture of the field trial products. On Friday 18th November 2011 we were delighted to demonstrate to Malcolm Harbour MEP,(Member of the European Parliament) our DSL Rings technology and show him the roadmap for Genesis. Harbour met Ian MacKenzie, Genesis UK Chairman, at the Genesis offices at the University of Warwick Science Park. Genesis is delighted to announce that the patent offices of the Russian Federation and the Common Wealth of Australia have awarded Genesis patents for ‘Shared DSL Network and Deployment Method’. Sean Williams, director of strategy, policy and portfolio at BT, has said that BT will not be ditching its copper network any time soon. “Copper is a permanent feature of our network,” Williams said. BT’s Williams added that simplification and acceleration of the BDUK process and availability of further public spending would help keep the government on track with its 2015 goals. The scheme aims to deliver superfast broadband connections to 95 percent of UK premises by 2015, and an
